The First look of Vidya Balan’s movie Bobby Jasoos just-released first look of the film, detective Vidya is on sleuthing duty on the pavement outside Hyderabad's railway station dressed as a male beggar, complete with beard and ragged hair.

'Reports have it that while she was sitting in this attire, a lady who was just passing by stopped at her and not only gave her some money but also gave her a sound piece of 'advice' - why beg when you can work and earn'.

Bobby Jasoos is an upcoming 2014 Indian pacy dramedy directed by Samar Shaikh and produced by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha under the banner of Born Free Entertainment. It features Vidya Balan in the lead role. Music of the film has been composed by Shantanu Moitra.

Shantanu Moitra roped in to compose the film score for Bobby Jasoos, while lyrics are penned by Swanand Kirkire. Singers Shreya Ghoshal and Papon were also reported to record a song for the film, which is also their first duet.

Lead actress Vidya Balan will be playing the role of a lady-detective in this film, which is going to be the first of its kind in India.Regarding her role, she said in an interview, "I found the idea of a lady detective irresistible, as did the title Bobby Jasoos.

Dia Mirza's spokesperson later confirmed that actor Ali Fazal was signed opposite Vidya.

Bobby Jasoos is the second project of Born Free Entertainment, the joint production house by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha, after Love Breakups Zindagi.Regarding this project, Dia Mirza said in an interview, "The script of Bobby Jasoos bears testimony to the fact that being patient and investing in good stories usually reaps good dividends.

90 percent shooting of Bobby Jasoos Movie completed in Hyderabad. Filming of Bobby Jasoos was postponed by 11 days from the scheduled date due to an emergency heart surgery of Dia Mirza's mother. Dia later stated that the filming will commence from November 25, 2013.

The filming will commence from Hyderabad, the city where the story is based and is supposed to wrap by January 2014. 

Shooting for the film started on 23 November 2013. The film will be shot in one long schedule of 55 days.Though the exact release date is yet not finalised, Bobby Jasoos is slated to release sometime during the summer of 2014.
