Hyderabadi film and Telugu film actor Abdul Rahman alias Baba, who is a familiar face as playing small  villain in Hyderabadi and Telugu films, was arrested on Monday by Banjara Hills police. 

Rahman alias Baba, 34, was booked for Attempt Murder case on his house owner Mohammed Fayaz. Mohammed Fayaz, house owner, had earlier beaten up Rahman after he reportedly made sexual advances on his sister-in-law Salma Nawaz.

In a bid to took revenge against Fayaz, Rahman on March 16 "attempted to kill" Fayaz by stabbing him. Escaped with injuries and bruises, Fayaz lodged complaint against Rahman in police station. Rahman was said to be on run.

 Banjara Hills police have finally arrested Abdul Rahman alias Baba on Monday. He will be produced in court soon.
