One of the most renowned and famous producers of Tollywood film industry, V B Rajendra Prasad passed away. VB Rajendra Prasad was 82 years old breathed his last at Eesha Hospital in somajiguda due to serious respiratory ailment. Doctors have informed that it is a natural death.

Born in Gudiwada of Krishna district on November 4, 1932, Rajendra Prasad produced sixteen Telugu films and few Bollywood and Tamil films under his famous Jagapathi arts banner, and also directed a few of them including the blockbuster hit Dasara Bullodu. 

He won oneNational Film Award for Antastulu and two Filmfare Awards for films,

Antastulu and Aastiparulu. He is also well known as tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu’s father and served as a trustee for Film Nagar Devasthanam in Hyderabad.
